I’ve had chicks and ducklings. It is a miracle any ever survive the wilds and even domestication. I guess its life in general.
Life for sure. I was so surprised to have captured a duckling tipping over. It never occurred to me there’s a learning curve for them, that it might not be able to right itself again…that it’s no Rubber Ducky!
LOL No, and chicks can’t swim. I had a duckling hatched by a hen and several of his little brothers died trying to follow him into the water to swim. (sad face)
