Thank you, Mukul! Your photos of the Kadamb Tree are lovely.
thank you, glad you liked the divine tree
These pictures are stunning. You are truly an artist both in photography and painting. We miss you. Jan and Brian >
Thank you, Jan. Bainbridge is beautiful, too, but nowhere have I encountered the vistas and the light I experienced living on Whidbey Island. Cheers to you and Brian!
That’s right! Love the caption. Gorgeous pictures!
Thanks so much, Sandra!
Very nice images. ..
Thank you, Galen.

Thanks so much for the pingback, Chris.
Now that I saw the photos, yes we did walk there. OH MY how I remember the blue skies.
I need to come visit again and soon.
I hope you are having a wonderful SUNDAY ! !
Many hugs from Atlanta, GA
Yes – an island visit is in your cards. Many hugs back! -P
Lovely! Looks so beautiful there. P.S. Have you happened to read “Paper Wishes” by Lois Sephaban? The main character is from Bainbridge Island.
p.p.s. I’ve nominated you for the Spirit Animal Award on my blog today. 🙂
Oh my goodness – thank you! But I can’t possibly accept. I will fail miserably following the rules, mostly because of time. I do appreciate the nomination, though. You’re an amazing blogger and reader. Congratulations on your Spirit Animal Award – whee!
Hi Marcia – I haven’t read “Paper Wishes.” Brand new! It’s on order at our library. Bainbridge Island has a beautiful Japanese memorial for the families and individuals taken to internment camps during World War II. These bluff walk photos are from Ebey’s Preserve on Whidbey Island, about thirty miles north of Bainbridge…and my tree house views. Thanks for commenting!
last pic lewks like a great place to hanglide 🙂
Absolutely! Click HERE to see shots I took of a paraglider and a remote control plane in that very spot in 2011. Thanks for commenting, Q!
2 kewl fer skewl 🙂
no paraglider pilot would pass up that spot – i surely wouldn’t !
I was lucky to be there right then. I imagine it’s the perfect spot for you!
Now I want to go there!
It’s a beauty of a spot (even without ice dancing in winter).
