Weekly Photo Challenge: One Love
March 12, 2016 § 13 Comments
Creating play stations in my apartment. We’ve had a lot of rain lately. There’s a leak in the roof. I know because my living room ceiling has two huge water stains that expand and recede. This morning I spied a spidery crack in the ’70’s popcorn finish defining the edge of a much larger area of concern than before.
Time to move my drawing table and papers away from the deck door. Time to…Morganize! Yay!! My One Love.
I walked photos over to property management a week ago. No word yet. But I’m ready for that crash in the night with plastic drop cloth and towels down on the cleared carpet at the center of the photo – which nicely divides my Etsy Play station in the far right corner, from my Illustration Play Station opposite left, and my Communication Play Station (napping couch vital for contacting Higher Intelligence any time day or night), directly across from Command Central where I sat only seconds before this photo was taken:

Love the pictures, I just want to come over, sit down and sip a cup of tea with you. Hmmmm we might have to have chocolate cake with that.
Ooo yes. Definitely!
I can totally appreciate where your coming from, I too live where the rain seems to not want to end, and my living room ceiling is leaking also (even though it’s a newer roof!).
Cheers!
Hey neighbor! Good luck with yours.

As ever, I appreciate the pingback, Chris!
I love your windows with views of nature.
I’m so lucky to have found this place in the treetops with the birdies.
Great spot. I adore organizing. When I had art space, it was always organized to the hilt, but never looked used, LOL!
I sure know that one…arranging paint tubes and colored pencils like the rainbow then leaving them that way for months as if they’re in a shop window.
LoL, exactly!!
Just a lovely post and very timely for me as I realized just the other day that I was settling into my small townhouse with designated ‘stations’ for various activities without any initial plan to do so. Working out very well.
You have created a very comfortable inviting space. Thank you for sharing.
Wow – you’re welcome! Thanks so much for spending time here. I’m excited for you and your nesting. Sounds wonderful.
