KiDiMu Frog On the Rock – In Process

June 12, 2013 § 4 Comments

Here we go! As I promised in my last post, Frogs On the Rock, here are some photos of the KidiMu Frog receiving adornment and personality from five painters, ages 4, 5 and 6. I gave one very brief demo of using the paints (“mural paint” acrylics from Icon Poly Studio in Gibbon, Nebraska), and that was it. They knew just what to do. Meanwhile, my assistant and I kept busy circling the artists and the sink bringing fresh water for brushes – “need a rinse!” – and mixing special colors on request.

At the end of the hour one young painter said, “Oh! Isn’t it just the most beautiful frog?” Yes, it is! Definitely a girl, to be named at a later date…

The KiDiMu Frog is back at my place now, sitting up on the kitchen counter where I can more easily paint the KiDiMu & BIMA logos on its chest. I’m to add a few more bugs as well, for we all know a frog cannot live on beauty alone.

Stay tuned…. xo Pierr
