Saturday starts bright and early in the woods…and my closet wall. Me thinks this little critter is up to some remodeling. All hand tools. They make a good alarm clock.
Outside the air is filled with birdsong – House Finch, Song Sparrow, American Robin, Varied Thrush, and another song I’ve always thought belonged to the Varied, but turns out it’s the voice of the Hermit Thrush. Listen to it HERE – on The Cornell Lab of Ornithology site, All About Birds. This one in my sketchbook met its life’s end at the picture window glass.
