This is it! Last day of NaNoWriMo. It’s not too late to make that 50K word count. Try this: a Scrabble game between two of your characters that opens up the plot in interesting ways using the very words they create. Use them all. Think of the possibilities: REBAR – HUT – RULING – DAINTY – GOOSE – EL – YES – LEDGE – QUOTE – DOUR – TEAM – ALE – EVOKE – GOWN – YEARNS – Oh, the wondrous words to be made. Good luck!! Now, GO!

On my walks now I’m seeing ornaments outside the box. Thinking about decorating an outside tree for December. For the birds. If these apples would hang on another month they’d provide a very nice TrEEt for the winged critters that stick around. And that tire. . . hmm . . . like a placeholder for the mind . . . Bird Bagels! Suet and Seeds. Stay tuned.

Wind howls and the rain marches sideways here today on Whidbey, but I can picture sunshine and blue skies well enough, remembering a little bird that flew outside my bedroom window at The Azure Gate B&B.
