Outside Wednesday

Admiralty Bay, Whidbey Island

Tide’s going out, sucking pebbles and sand in a sloosh of energy underfoot. Bubble foam pattern a kind of polka dot, waves draped in this still shot remind me of fabric. The white forefold like piping sewn along the edge of a quilt.

A friend left a comment about the cloud as vortex, how it seemed to be pulling the water and beach into another dimension. I hadn’t noticed the cloud until her comment. My walk yesterday (Thursday Dec 17) had me thinking about “another dimension.”
